What personal information do we collect, and when?
When placing an order, you will be asked to enter your name, email address, billing address, mailing address and phone number, and your computer’s IP address will be stored.
When registering on our site, filling out the contact form or subscribing to the newsletter, you will be asked to enter your name and email address. Credit card information will not be stored or processed on our servers.
We also use “cookies” to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our websites. Please refer to the “Do we use ‘cookies’?” section below for information about cookies and how we use them.
How do we use your information?
We use the information we collect from you in the following ways:
- To process your order and to send information and updates regarding your order.
- To respond to inquiries.
- To send periodic emails regarding new Kitty&Kin products ONLY if you have opted-in by subscribing to our mailing list.
What rights you have over your data?
If you have an account on this site, you can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time. You can use the contact form to request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
How do we protect visitor information?
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
All transactions are processed through PayPal and no credit card information is stored or processed on our servers.
Do we use ‘cookies’?
You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser’s Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.
If you disable cookies, it will turn off some of the features that make your site experience more efficient and some of our services will not function properly.
We will NEVER sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.
We use MailChimp to manage our newsletter list. There’s no third-party tracking in messages we send through MailChimp besides MailChimp’s own analytics, which may aggregate how many subscribers open a message or click the links inside.
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided at the end of the newsletter. This will permanently remove you from the mailing list.
